Mary McMurdo
Office Manager

My name is Mary McMurdo and I’m the office manager of R.A.M. Plastic Surgery.

I started working in the Med Spa industry right after getting my Esthetician license in 2015 and have never looked back! I quickly realized that I love medical cosmetics! I always hoped that someday I would work for an esteemed plastic surgeon. I love this industry because there is always something to learn! And loving what you do means it never feels like “work”.

I am passionate about helping people achieve their aesthetic as well as their personal goals.

My favorite thing here is the staff. This is truly my dream job!

Lexi
Surgical Nurse

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Before joining the team at RAM, I gained experience working in the Neuro ICU at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

What I love most about working at RAM Plastic Surgery is the team’s unwavering commitment to both personal and professional growth. Each team member shares a collective drive to be their best, and I truly enjoy being part of an environment where everyone is constantly striving to improve and excel.

Breanna
Medical Assistant

Our dedicated medical assistant at Ram Plastic Surfer. Breanna plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients before, during, and after their procedures.

I take pride in educating patients about their treatments and recovery process, ensuring they feel informed and confident at each step. With strong attention to detail, I also manage patient records, maintain a sterile environment, and assist with any administrative tasks that support the medical team.

What I enjoy most about my role is helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their journey, from the initial consultation to post-surgery follow-ups. It’s truly rewarding to see their transformations and to know that I’ve played a part in their path to improved self-esteem and well-being.

Samantha Garofalo
Licensed Massage Therapist

Also known as Real MLD, an extraordinary Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician with a knack for turning the bustle of Chicago into a sanctuary of healing. Known for her compassionate touch and innovative spirit, she’s the mastermind behind the Real MLD compression shorts, a must-have for anyone experiencing the transformative Avéli cellulite reduction procedure.

Samantha’s journey toward mastery in Manual Lymphatic Drainage was inspired by her family. Watching her mother battle Multiple Sclerosis and her cousin gracefully face life as a quadriplegic lit a fire in her heart to create healing comfort through her hands.

With a background that includes formal education at Northeastern University and The Soma Institute of Clinical Massage Therapy, Samantha has gathered extensive experience working in health and wellness centers, hospitals, and five-star hotels. When 2019 rolled around,
Samantha continued to level up her skills and earned her certification in MLD, specializing in the highly respected Vodder Method and certified in multiple post op courses. She didn’t stop there-Samantha dazzled her way to a diamond certification in Brazilian lymphatic drainage massage by world renowned celebrity massage therapist Josie Rushing. Now, she’s not just practicing; she’s teaching the next wave of therapists in the Chicago area.
