Surgeries are performed at our certified AAAASF surgery center in Chicago where we have our own operating room. This surgery center was designed and built by Azizi himself with his patients’ safety in mind. You will arrive at our plastic surgery center the day of your operation and will be discharged home the same day by our nurse.
We wanted to have our office attached to our surgery center to give the comfort of a private center to our patients, in order to avoid the inconvenience of a major hospital system. This allows complete privacy for our patients with the highest standard of care.
We use general anesthesia. We have a team of highly trained Anesthetists that provide safe and effective anesthesia tailored to your weight and body needs. General Anesthesia allows the safest situation for our patients. It also allows us to do a better job with surgery and liposuction because patients are more comfortable and we can remove more fat from around sensitive areas of the body.
Yes. All patients are required to get cleared from a primary care provider prior to surgery. This includes blood work, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and a clearance letter from the medical doctor.
- Here at RAM Plastic Surgery in Chicago, we help each patient obtain the best surgery outcome through our strict post-op protocols, communication with patients, and multiple services that we offer, ultimately optimizing the body’s natural healing process.
- Stage 1 of recovery is Day 1-7 post-operatively. It is important to have a good friend, family member, or loved one there to take care of you for the first 24-48 hours after surgery. Please rest frequently in this first week to give your body a chance to recover.
- What is the average down time after surgery? We recommend taking it very easy and maximizing rest for the first 7 days in your stage 1 of recovery.
- Post-Op discomfort is expected and normal. Take your pain medications! We will provide instructions on your pain medication regimen.
- We provide detailed instructions for each surgery in regards to the activity level, positioning, and what to expect in the first week after surgery. Our office is very hands on and we will help guide you through your recovery!

Combining surgeries will be discussed at your consultation with Dr. Azizi. Most combination surgeries are approved by Dr.Azizi but remain individualized to your body and your goals.
Payment must be 100% completed 2 weeks prior to surgery day.
These services are included in the final surgery quote and cannot be deducted out to lower the final cost of surgery. At RAM plastic surgery, we prioritize optimizing your surgery results. Post-Op care is essential in order to get the best outcome from your surgery. After much thought and research, we have implemented these services as our gold standard post-operative care.
